Japanese clothing designer Yohji Yamamoto's fashion house has filed for bankruptcy.

Yohji Yamamoto, best known for his Y3 Adidas tie-up, said that the downturn had impacted sales and landed it with debts of 6bn yen (ВЈ42m).

Yohji Yamamoto has filed for bankruptcy in the Tokyo courts but under Japanese law, he can keep the business afloat while restructuring takes place.

Christian Lacroix rescued by sheik of Ajman

Christian Lacroix is understood to have been rescued from administration by Al Hassan Bin Al Nuaimi.

US owner the Falic Group, which bought Lacroix from LVMH in 2005, has concluded a deal to sell the French couture house to Al Nuaimi, the sheik of Ajman, according to Womenswear Daily.

It is understood that Al Nuaimi plans to continue the couture operations of Lacroix and to reinforce its luxury brand position.

The Atlanta screening was at Atlantic Station's Regal Cinemas and hosted by Upscale Magazine/ Magic Shave and non-profit partner Real Men Cook.  Celebrities from ranging from  Little Scrappy to Roger Bobb to the soon to be ex-wife of Usher, Tameka Foster Raymond, were on hand to celebrate the movie
