  2. looks like this year's game could be another beauty. both of us ranked fairly strongly, both coming off 4th-quarter comeback wins.
i'll see yall in 2 weeks.

  3. according to espn.com, Georgia Tech has 14 players in the NFL, and Clemson has 15. Yeah, that's a huge difference...

  4. James Davis > Calvin Johnson
we have more players in nfl...(airese currie, dantzler, TONS more)

  5. not only Davis, but we got CJ Spiller out of Florida too. I think this could be our year...but we shall see.

  6. our rivalry is more out of respect because it seems that everytime we meet, the game is going to have a thrilling finish. Also for the record I always pull for Clemson against USC...and most of the time in the ACC unless a loss could help Tech. Congrats to your cousin for getting into Tech. Good luck to you guys this year...and I must say your RB Davis is a beast lol.

  7. Clemson and GT do have a great rivalry going...many of our games come down to the wire( Kerry Watkins in 2000, Calvin Johnson in 2004, and Danzler(spelling?) in 2001 beating us in OT). Death Valley does have a great gameday environment theres no doubt... but a stadium shouldnt be the deciding factor in judging a program. I do agree with you though, many Tech fans dont hate Clemson...

  8. I've been to GT. It's fun and when the place is full or near it, it feels like big-time college football, but to me the atmosphere does not compare.

My cousin is gonna be a Tech freshman this year by the way....so if you see Jay Rudd, say hey lol.

  9. Just had to step in and defend a Clemson fan...and even up the score with my own video a bit. :)

As for why we are better? Well I Can't explain it with facts....because I'm not talking about record and such. After all you have 3 in a row against us. But the tradition in Death Valley, 85,000 orange-clad fans, running down the hill, the tailgating, its all great.

  10. Ya'll may feel different but I've always held GT as my second fave ACC team and root for them outside of Clemson.

The reasons I think we are better come down to pure bias. I can't prove anything with facts because one of the last remaining facts left is overall record, and our all time winning percentages are VERY similar.

  11. i never necesarily said we were better as a program (simply commenting that in my opinion we should have won...) and also saying the reasons why the series isnt even. (its going to take multiple comments to say all this lol)

  12. OK so GT has the all time series and 4 National Championships to Clemsons 1...GT is also 1 of the top rated schools in the country. Please explain with facts how Clemson is better than GT?

  14. Well you do have more than our 1 championship. Although, one could certainly debate the fact that all of yall's except for one, took place in or before 1952. But if you are trying to suggest that Tech has a better program and more tradition than Clemson, you are sadly mistaken, my friend.

  15. ok so GT has the all time series...And how many national championships does Clemson have again??

  16. actually tron is right. And ever since joining the ACC, GT has a losing record against Clemson.

  17. The only reason GT leads the series against Clemson is because *every* game from 1902 to 1974 was played at GT's stadium. If you look at the series since Clemson had the chance to play at home once in a while, it's been pretty much even.

  18. tron81 please stopy crying. GT leads the all time series against Clemson 45-23...I guess they have gotten "lucky" alot against Clemson.

  19. Calvin Johnson should have been called for offensive pass interference. GT won't get that lucky next season at Clemson.
