I know its not cool that tehy ahve fakes, but some people juzt cant afford to have a real bag. Now im a bag junkie and wud ALWAYS want a real deal but even if its fake its still a bag, it has the same purpose if a real LV. so by tearing it apart your jsut wasting a good bag!

ReplyDeleteYeah, I actully tried to find a Cerise Alma to compare mine...Yeah, they have never produced one. Now I feel stupid but for some, I just don't see the harm. I think a lot of people with "designer bags" are actually carrying fakes. Eh, right now I'm carrying a 14 dollar bag from RAVE. I feel a little more honest, but not poor.

If you don't mind people knowing you carry fakes then I suppose it's fine, in your case for example, Louis Vuitton have never produced a Cerise Alma so anyone who knows the brand will know your carrying a fake, but if you are okay with then it's fine.
ReplyDeleteYou make a fair a point about Louis Vuitton he is loaded but he has been dead since 1892, so he isn't spending it.
Louis Vuitton don't make their items in China, they are mainly produced in France and Spain.

ReplyDeleteI must admit though, usually replicas look VERY much like the authentic, but this one was a very cheap fake. They do make better fakes.
ReplyDeleteWhat is SO bad about buying a knock off purse? It's not like Louis Vuitton is losing THAT much money. Seriously, he's loaded and not hurting for money. I don't see whats so wrong with buying a handbag that LOOKS just like an authentic one for a fraction of the cost. It's a purse. It holds KEYS and LIPGLOSS. seriously... I dont think its about people trying to look rich when they're not, Its about people liking the bags. I have a replica Cerise Alma and I use it more than I use my real dooney.

and yeah, when you have a an LV bag, the trimmings oxidize, don't they?
all of my luggage's trimmings have gone a creamy coffee coloured now.
You should of also included the oxidizing leather how the authentic had patina and the fake none. Otherwise great video I actually find these quite useful! 5 stars :)

ReplyDeleteHopefully not, the people who make fakes have the real bags to use as reference but still make pretty poor copies, mainly because they cut corners and use cheap materials, so our video shouldn't help at all.
ReplyDeleteIt will however hopefully help people not to buy fakes, the best way to end the trade in fake bags is not to buy them and hopefully we can help a little.
I think this is a good idea but surely it just gives ideas to the fakers? :(
