im originally from the uk and for a teenager there are no shops that do nice plus size clothes, like you said they were black shapeless outfits tucked away in the corner of the shop! i think your amazing lucie :)
ReplyDeleteLane Bryant is an AWESOME store! They are specifically for curvy women (size 14 and up)and my favorite place ever to shop. I live in the US so I don't know if there are Lane Bryants in other countries, but I'm sure they have store locations on the website. I love going to a store where I can always find my size in clothes that are fashionable for me, a 20 year old, and not old lady stuff that are normally found in plus size sections.

ReplyDeletei think u had too many cough sweets from the wk b4 on the begining bit lol bet devon ws fun ive alays wanted to go i hate igh street shopping ur totally right about the whole black huge shaples stuff, sad i know but i love asda they always have a great range in and its usually up to a size 20, ignore the nasty comments on this place there usualy shallow insecure people bulying other peopl cause they feel brave as they cant be seen great vid Luc !!!

ReplyDeletei don't know quite what it is about people wanting to drag others down. i've seen hatemail, and i just don't understand how people justify being that cruel to people they absolutely don't know? it's as if women have to fit other people's mental views of them before they're allowed personhood.

ReplyDeleteI think some people are shallow and only look at a persons weatlth or want them as a trophey on their arm while they go out - so appearance.....but I also think there are lots of lovely people out there who believe that personality is what matters and how beautiful the person is on the inside ! DOTS FASHION (mostly along the U.S. East Coast) In contrast to some of the viewers' comments about other stores, I sometimes find the fashions at DOTS to be too young looking for me. So, maybe some of you should check them out. :)

We have a chain in Canada (I'm not sure how widespread it is) called Voluptuous, and the wirting is all curvy and sexy. This store sells really nice, up to date clothing that's designed to fit well aroung a curvy body. Though I've never gone in there to shop for myself, I always feel a bit of pride going past, knowing that it's there.

Im 18 and often times i feel lik im 40 trying on the plus size clothes. it sucks. i usually go to Fashion Bug wich has cute clothes in my size. or Torrid wich is a plus size store and i get out fits that suit my age. oh and btw u are sooo beautiful!!!! i love u
