John D. Erickson The Bloody Mary is celebrating its 75th birthday today.In this country, there is a holiday for nearly every date on the calendar. I've heard that May 5 is Hoagie Day, May 28 is Hamburger Day and Sept. 12 is Chocolate Milkshake Day. Today, we add another to the list. Oct. 5 was declared Bloody Mary Day by New York City’s mayor, Michael R. Bloomberg.
