Is This Offensive?
The above window displays were removed from the Barneys New York store in New York City last week after only a few days in the window, due to the shock and complaints of many customers. The display showed 2 mannequins in Helmut Lang and A.L.C. fending off attackers. My take was that it was a play on the expression, “I wouldn't be caught dead in that.” Do you think the displays should have been removed? Does
